What is Dialup?

Dialup is the magic of old telephones, before there were robocalls.

It’s an app that connects you serendipitously in recurring calls with people you want to meet. Whether it's discussing what book you’re reading, what you’re making for dinner, or the full moon—Dialup will ring your phones on a schedule and pair you randomly in a one-on-one conversation.

You never need to remember to call or figure out scheduling. Dialup calls for you. It feels like stumbling into a fascinating conversation at a party.

Calls occur over internet / WiFi and use custom caller IDs instead of phone numbers to make it obvious that it’s us. It’s completely private and end-to-end encrypted too.
